So, it has been
about three days since I have not opened my bag and my exam is in a week. I
used to enjoy studying in the past years but since I graduated class 11, my
rate of studying has slowed down and my interest in study too. So, I did some
analysis and I think I know something now.
When I plan to study
I exasperate myself by showing that I have got a lots of things to do or lots
of things to study, hoping that I would get motivated due to the pressure. But
I had reverse effect, instead of being motivated, the self imposed pressure demoralized
me and I never sat in my table to study.
So, for me if I plan
to do a lots of things it won't work for me. So what will I do? I will divide
lots of work into smaller parts. For instance from now on, I will not say that
I will study the whole physics. When I say that my brain is scared to work because
it sees a lot of struggle and sacrifice and it won't get motivated. But if I
say I will study Wave motion of physics my brain doesn't get demoralized and it
will then it will be motivated to work. After I complete the wave motion, I say
to myself that I will study alcohols but I won't say that I will study the
whole organic chemistry and this is how I will keep my motivation level
constant.
So if you think this
more in terms of psychology it makes sense. If someone brings you the food that
you eat in your lifetime and order you to eat them all at that moment. You will
never start to eat, the appetite will go down.
The key is to start
little and demand little to get bigger.
Hope you will have a
good days ahead.
