We Nepalese hate Indians but we shouldn't.

Almost every single person from Kathmandu has anti-Indian feelings in them. Here, in Kathmandu nobody likes Narendra Modi, everybody hates the Indian politicians especially Modi. Well, yeah India has been troubling us from a long time. It conducted blockade for almost every products such as petroleum, foods, cooking gas and other accessories for two times, it has always been interfering with the internal politics of Nepal from a long time and I think it has sometimes even manipulated the leaders of our country to make some decisions proposed by India, it has been pushing its border towards Nepal making the territory of Nepal smaller and smaller. These are only a small fraction of reasons why we Nepali don’t like Indian politicians, which has eventually caused us to hate India as a whole. But we shouldn’t and here’s why.

The economic situation in our country is worsening day by day. We are in trade deficit from ages. We are in 45.97% loss compared to previous year in trade. We have the per capita income of just 1,003.641USD(in July of 2018). According to UN’s  Human Development Index, Nepal is in 149th place among 189 countries. Not only that, the corruption here in Nepal is the uncurable virus which has been continuously infecting the government of Nepal. For instance, there is still the controversy that the tourism Minister tried to embezzle 53 million USD as commission while buying two wide-body aircraft. The Melamchi Water Project was inaugurated decades ago but still, it has not been effective. Our country doesn’t provide justice to its own citizen as the government is still protecting the rapist of 14-year-old Nirmala Panta. And we Nepalese have been suffering from a long time. We suffered 104 years from the Rana regime, then we suffered from the Kings who were self-centred. Finally, on Dec 28, 2007, Nepal was declared the Federal Democratic Republic but then we started suffering from political instability. Within in the period of 11 years, we have changed the Prime Ministers of Nepal 10 times. We blamed political instability for no development in Nepal. But now we have got very strong Government which consists of two-thirds of the parliament and it has been 10 months since this government came in power but still, there are no significant improvements in any sector in Nepal. This is how Nepal is and how Nepal has been, in brief.

But our neighbour India is the world’s sixth largest economy. It is progressing in supersonic speed. It has a strong military, strong businessman, strong leaders, unlike Nepal. And its foreign policy is now focused to increase its influence in South East Asia and it is ready to go to any extent to increase its influence and gain control over Asia. And I would say that is pretty considerable because every strong country is doing it. Look at China, it gave loan to the countries in a huge amount that the country cannot repay its debt. For example, when Sri Lanka asked loan to build a port in Sri Lanka, China actually agreed and China built a huge port in Sri Lanka(very huge) that the Sri Lankans couldn’t pay the debt and eventually the port was given to China. Not only China, but the Americans are also trying to increase its influence all over the world especially in the countries where there are maximum oil reserves. Why is it that the Americans are always eager to do weapon trade with Saudi Arabia? Why is it that NATO killed Gaddafi? Or simply why does NATO still exist? All because America wants its influence all over the world and same as India the countries like USA, China, Russia, France and all the strong countries will go to any extent to dominate and take the control of other countries(not direct control like in colonialism but indirect diplomatic control). And Nepal is the victims of the dominance foreign policy of India. If there was no India then, of course, China would be preying on us and why wouldn’t they? Because whatever we say every country wants its own development and its own benefit only. Every country’s prime duty is to protect its citizen from everything, its main responsibility is to improve its economy and create the opportunity to its people its main goal is to be strong and successful. And a country applies different techniques, makes different policies to make it happen. A country only helps another country if the country realizes that it can be benefited by helping another country. A country doesn’t want to save the world it only wants to save itself. That how the world runs. We need to accept that.

  1. Why did China give huge loans to Sri Lanka for the port even when it knew that Sri Lanka cannot pay back the loan?

Well, we can be assured that China was planning a “debt trap” to extend its trade, from the beginning of time and it has succeeded.

What is the result?

China is enjoying the tax-free port in Sri Lanka and is saving a lot of money not paying taxes and has got an easy route to globalize its product. And unfortunately for Sri Lanka, it lost one of the important port and maybe they even have to pay tax for their very port in their very country.

Did China do right?

For its people YES. The Chinese product will now be cheaper and the Chinese money can be spent in other sector and fields than paying for the rental, and taxes in the Sri Lankan port.It saved a huge lot of money and opened a huge opportunity for Chinese Entrepreneur for easy trading.

Well, China did what it had to do for its people, for the betterment of the country as a whole.

          2) Why is India trying to gain control of Nepali Politics?

“Approximately 200,000 people die every year due to inadequate access to clean water and it’s “only going to get worse” as 21 cities are likely to run out of groundwater by 2020  in India”

“By 2030, the country’s water demand is projected to be twice the available supply,” the Niti Aayog report reads. “[This will cause] severe water scarcity for hundreds of millions of people.”

-From Independent.Co.UK
This clearly answers why India is interested in Nepal as because Nepal is the second richest country in terms of water resources. And India thinks Nepal is the solution for its water crisis. Also, India is interested in the natural resources present in Nepal

Is India doing right?
For its people YES. There is pressure for India to assure the prevention of water crisis for its people. Maybe India thinks Nepal might be the solution. If we were in the place of India I guarantee we will do the same. If we were in the place of India we too will make many filthy and very selfish policies to take control over the politics of the neighbouring country and eventually to divert all the water resources to our land.

DON’T LET YOUR EMOTION  TAKE OVER YOUR THINKINGS.
THINK FOR A SECOND.

If we accept the true and universal fact that every human seeks the betterment for their own then the above-mentioned things become clear. Humans are selfish, every action of humans are self-centered, for their own happiness, for their own wellbeings.  Humans and every animal have been doing this, form the moment they were born. And it will continue till the time humans exist in the world. Even if morality exists, humans won’t dare to dump it into the dustbin to fulfil their needs.

Chinese are the whole group of strong people who are selfish to grow their economy, Indians are the group of people  selfish to grow their influence and we Nepalese too are group of weak people but selfish for lands and development.(if we're not selfish then Prithivi Narayan Shah wouldn't have conducted the unification campaign killing thousands of people in the war to gain territory)

DON’T LET YOUR EMOTION  TAKE OVER YOUR THINKINGS.
THINK FOR A SECOND.

Now arrives this question. Why are the weak always to suffer?
In the question, itself is the answer, BECAUSE WE ARE WEAK. A lion kills a deer to eat but is it capable of killing an elephant? NO.

If Sri Lanka had a strong economy it would have never asked for help with China. And China would have never taken the advantage.

If Nepal was strong enough, if Nepali Ministers were not the pets of the Indian government, if Nepal was not dependent to India in terms of Infrastructure development, India would have never laid eyes on the water of Nepal.

Yes, what China did was an injustice to Sri Lanka, India did injustice to Nepal too and the stronger country will keep on doing this until we, the developing countries fight against the injustice.

The strong always preys the weak. And if the prey doesn’t use techniques to counter the predator the prey always remains a prey which will be munched by a stronger animal and eventually by the vultures. If Nepal doesn’t make a stronger foreign policy to counter Indian foreign policy then India will always interfere with the internal affairs of Nepal, it will even create a scenario in which Nepal would have to ask for consent with Indian Government before formulating a law in the country. And eventually there will not be Nepal in the coming days and if there is no Nepal there won't be Nepalese. All the forest will be used by the Indian Drugs Company to save Indians, all the water body of Nepal will be diverted towards Gujrat. The sacrifices by our ancestors will be proved for nothing. India has already done a lot of injustice to us. We won’t bear the injustice anymore. We need change, we have to change and we will change. That’s Gurkha for the world.

Nepal should establish a stronger government which is stable and with good foreign policy and with better ministers who won't fall for a bribe but will stand as a pillar to hold the pressure of the country. Not only with India, but Nepal should also develop trade relationships with all the neighbouring countries and not fully be dependent only with India in trade. It should reveal the torture India is giving to Nepal to the whole world and not be afraid of the consequences of its decision if the Nepalese citizen thinks it is the right thing to do.

And most importantly, we need to elect and give power to someone who has the capability to be the pillar of the country to withstand the strain and if we cannot educate ourselves to vote for the right person then we don’t have right to call India is evil and we don't have the right to hate India.

  1. Really sad to read this article of yours. Well like my teacher used to say. Politics means vested interests of their own. sometimes politicians don't even think of the betterment of people and only think about themsleves(not all of them). Some take responsibiltiy of people and keep their personal interests aside. These are social workers. And todays world does not have any social workers. Now coming back to your article. These political borders were only made recently less than 3 generations. not more. before that we all know Srilanka , Pakistan , Nepal , Bangladesh were all sovereign countries with adequate resouces for themselves.
India on the other hand has an increased population and the GDP per capita is not so great being the 6th largest economy. On the internet and on balck and white Indian economic figures are great and commendable> but thats not the actual truth. There is a huge population without basic human needs or rights and a large number below or slightly touching poverty line. When election comes i see Flex & banners worth 100,000-200000 INR being placed on each and every junction. That is the GDP required for a normal family of 4. So be it our or your politicians, problems will continue untill a selfless leader comes up.
On the other hand regarding hatred. Even some of us hate Nepalese as much as nepalese hate indians. And for this you just have to stand in line, because there are many countries that hate India 1. America (American average household , coz they think their jobs were stolen by indians, plus some of the indians are now in US working and living there. because half of american youth is either under narcotics or ganja smoking ) 2. UK (Since independence many indians moved to UK worked smaller white collar jobs and made fortune and are richer than some britishers ) 3. Pakistan( I dont know how to comment on this me being a muslim from India. Yet again since Indian Independence. They have been stupid and have become a puppet of US and China. They should go look in the mirror and see that. We are the same. Same , looks , same food , same habits , same style , almost same culuture (Not religion. Religion is a choice of individually Faith. Lets levae that alone). 4. Thailand ( They think we are cheap .LOL. While they are Ok to sell their bodies ?? This is hillarious ) 5. Malaysia ( Oh thats a long story) 6. China ( The Govt has made them believe . Its complicated . same problem , Media propogated< no google no facebook no, whatsapp , so govt tell their people. people listen , no other choice)
Then comes , South Africa , Australia and some countries etc etc and then NEPAL .
    So Thats that.
But personally Me i feel there is a greater place called Kapilavastu which i respect , admire and dream of visiting which is in NEPAL ofcourse. That place gave the world an absolutely remarkable Spiritual Leader. And yet another fact is that The HIMALAYAS that is also something the whole world including the European Countries should bow down to.
Annapoorna Mountain ( Mother of Food and prosperity) . i give 2 Thumbs up to NEPAL just for this.
So You should be proud of who your are and stop hating others. Because by and large your are sitting on the promised land not India or US or China.
Take care . Wishing only the best.

    1. Thank you very much for going through my blog and for your time. Yes, I know India is going through a lots of trouble as well and I too am aware of how Indians are troubled in the western countries.

Even of all the hatred towards Indian, if Indians can stay and work with dignity and proudness of being Indian then no one can dominate India and it's people.

Same goes with Nepal. But what we(Nepalese) require is a proper guidelines from a better leader who can drag our country towards dignity and make people happy because if you visit Nepal , here, no one is happy with the present government and our Prime Minister because our present PM had shown us a lots of hope but till now there has not been any significant changes.

But sir, I am a huge fan of Narendra Modi, such a great personality he has.

Anyway, Nepal and India has got a lots of problems to solve so we better start working honestly with better motives to make our motherland proud.

      Wishing best for you too.

Reviewing the employees of Linus Media Group.

I am a huge fan of Linus Media group and I have been watching it’s channel for 3 to 4 years. I think I know the personality of every employee of that company because they have got the dedicated vlogging channel where we get to see the inside of LMG. And I feel that he is a man with little less knowledge in field of technology compared to his counterparts. You can see that in videos like the scrapyard 8  where he comments like “Why don’t we just buy th
